Play a full drum kit on your phone, record beats to a click, layer them up and loop them.

Features

• Touch drum kit: 2 crash cymbals, ride, hi-hat, snare, 2 toms, floor tom and kick drum.
• Hi-hat pedal: play the hi-hat closed or open.
• Four sound kits: Rock, Jazz, Pop and Synth.
• Record to a click: set the tempo and play along to a metronome.
• Overdub: add more layers on top to build full drum beats.
• Loop: repeat your recording and keep adding to it.
• Step grid view: switch between the pads and a drum-machine grid (12 drums × 16 steps per bar). Tap or drag squares to set loud, soft or off. Includes bar tabs and a moving playhead.
• Quantize: snap sloppy hits onto the beat, with adjustable strength (100/75/50/25%), triplet support and UNDO.
• Beats library: save, load and delete your beats. Includes a Miami beat and 8 example beats (2 per kit).
• Export: save your beat as MP3 or WAV to share.

Changelog

• New: Step grid. A VIEW button switches between pads and the grid. Hits you record show up in the grid, and grid edits play in the loop.
• New: Better quantize. Snap is on by default and remembers your settings. Adjustable snap strength, and QUANT now handles triplets correctly. UNDO reverts a quantize.
• New: Example beats. 8 new beats in the BEATS list, 2 for each kit (Rock, Jazz, Pop, Synth). Loading one switches to its kit and sets the tempo.
• New: Unsaved-work warning. Loading a beat while your current one is unsaved now warns you that you'll lose your work (LOAD ANYWAY or CANCEL). No warning appears if the beat is empty, just saved or just loaded.
• Improved: Quicker loading. Pressing LOAD closes the beats list automatically.
