# PocketBuilder

> PocketBuilder is an AI-powered Android app builder that runs on an Android phone and produces real installable Android APKs.

Describe an app in plain language. PocketBuilder's agent writes source code, compiles and packages the APK on the phone, and can help test it with the user's permission. Users can inspect source files, install their apps and publish them to the PocketBuilder app store.

The agent, project files, compiler and testing tools run on the phone. AI inference uses online services through the PocketBuilder server. Connected apps can use online lobbies, shared data and server-side game rules.

PocketBuilder is an early preview for Android 8 or later on an ARM64 phone. Email verification, administrator approval and credits are required for AI use. Read the installation guide and its Play Protect warnings before deciding to install. Do not assume apps in the community store have been independently verified as safe.
